Product questions.

What is the difference between Aluminium Alloy Ingots and Aluminium Ingots?

Aluminium Alloy Ingots (ADC-12, LM-6, LM-2 and custom chemistries) are formulated to precise Si/Cu specifications for die-casting and general engineering. Aluminium Ingots (Commercial) are graded by purity (96% to 98.5%) rather than a specific alloy chemistry, and are used for general-purpose remelting, foundry feedstock and bulk supply.

What is the difference between ADC-12 and LM-6 aluminium ingots?

ADC-12 has higher copper content (1.5–3.5%) alongside 9.6–12% silicon, giving strong fluidity for die-casting complex parts. LM-6 has higher silicon (10–13%) and very low iron, giving excellent corrosion resistance for marine and thin-walled castings.

What sizes of aluminium circles does Shubham Metal supply?

Aluminium circles are supplied from 3 inches to 40 inches in diameter, with thickness ranging from 0.70mm to 3mm, to suit cookware, utensil and signage applications. Custom sizing is available on request.

What is the difference between hot rolled and cold rolled circles?

Hot rolled circles are processed at high temperature for thicker gauges and faster throughput. Cold rolled circles are processed at room temperature for tighter dimensional tolerance and a smoother surface finish, typically preferred for cookware and deep-drawing applications.

What thickness of aluminium sheet and plate does Shubham Metal supply?

Aluminium sheets and plates are supplied from 0.7mm to 5mm in thickness, across standard widths, to suit roofing, cladding, fabrication and marine applications. Custom gauge and width are available on request.

What is the difference between 3003 and 5052 aluminium sheet?

3003 is a moderate-strength, corrosion-resistant general-purpose grade suited to roofing, cladding and HVAC ducting. 5052 has higher strength and superior corrosion resistance, making it the preferred choice for marine, automotive and fuel-tank applications.

Can Shubham Metal manufacture custom alloy compositions?

Yes. Send a specification sheet for ingots, circles, or sheets and plates, and Shubham Metal will formulate, sample, certify and scale a custom chemistry or size to your process.

Does Shubham Metal supply pan-India?

Yes, Shubham Metal dispatches aluminium alloy ingots, circles, and sheets & plates to industrial buyers across India.
